Eliminating Negativity
Have you ever struggled with negative feelings? Do people around you bring you down? Are you wanting more positivity in your life? Living in today’s world with all the negative influences surrounding us, it’s no wonder we are walking around with our head down.
So why would we think about that which we do not want? It's common to focus on what's in front of us even if it is negative, and this can become a habit. We can update our habits by creating positive ones and eliminate the ones that no longer serve us. If you listen to the news, read social media, watch TV, or even visit the water cooler at work, all these things have an impact on you and can bring your vibration down to feeling hopeless at times and even less than.
How can we eliminate this impact upon us?
Feeling positivity and focusing on what you want will bring about and increase the attraction of that thing.
Our thoughts are powerful energy. What we focus on grows. Consider never having a negative thought again. Perhaps your’e ready to shut off the TV, stop looking at your phone first thing in the morning, throw out the daily negative news and maybe even change up your circle of friends. Just picking one of these to begin living more positively can change your life for the better.
For example, unplug the TV for a day, then a week. Notice how you feel by not watching the boob tube and recognize what you have replaced your time with. Is it more positive? Instead of looking at your phone first thing, try prayer and meditation, listening to something positive on you tube or a podcast that will inspire you to power up your potential. Only think about what you want to bring about knowing that this is truth and you will be stepping into your higher purpose my friend.
Here is an exercise you can do that can change the way you look and feel about your life. When I did it, I couldn’t believe how I had manifested all the good I had wanted and eliminated that which I did not want any longer. It’s is a powerful exercise. All you do is create a list of 10 things you do not want and 10 things you do you want in your life.
Begin to focus on the things you do want and reflect back in your journal 30 days from now to see how far you have come. Write your list down and file it away. After a few weeks check in and see how the things you do not want have either been eliminated from your life or diminished. If they are still there, continue to work on what you DO want. It will come, I promise!
This is the power of positive thought. You have worked so hard in your life to get yourself to where you are today. It's been no easy effort. Life is hard. You've overcome obstacles and challenges that got in your way! Congratulations! Give yourself credit for how far you have come and keep going beautiful soul.
Allow yourself to receive God's greatest blessings today. He wants us to thrive and flourish. You are deserving my friend. You are love. And you are in action today for all you want in life.
