Loneliness With The Setting Sun

My most favorite time of day is sundown…….

where I reflect on all the good in my life- each day brings something new..

but on this day I am filled with sadness, loneliness and a longing to be home.

Home is where the ❤️ is and today I feel as if I have neither…..sadness is filling the darkness all around

Oh how I want something bright to restore my soul.

I am waiting like a lion in a cage to be free of all this despair.

Love seems a distant affair and loss is all I know. -
